Selection round of the 41st international Hans Gabor Belvedere singing competition for young opera singers

On April 4 at 17 o’clock the Baltic regionselection round of the 41st International Hans Gabor Belvedere Young Opera Singers Competition, in which young singers from Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia traditionally participate, will take place in the historic Dzintari Concert Hall.
Entrance is with free invitations that can be picked up at the Dzintari concert hall box office (one person can pick up up to 10 invitations).

The first selection rounds of the competition in Europe, Canada and the United States of America have been taking place since February 21 of this year, and registration for the competition continues.

The prestigious competition, named after the founder of the Vienna Chamber Opera, Hans Gabor, is a decisive event in the career of young singers, because by participating in the competition, they get not only cash prizes, but also permanent cooperation offers. For 41 years, the competition has been opening doors for young vocalists to the world’s most prestigious opera stages. Previous participants and laureates include opera stars Elīna Garanča, Angela Gheorghiu, Marina Mescheriakova, Ildikó Raimondi, Irina Samoilova and Stanislav Schwez. Last year, from June 4 to 11, the final of the competition was held for the second time in the Dzintari Concert Hall in Jūrmala.

Anyone interested can attend the selection round of the competition with the free invitations that can be picked up at the box office of Dzintari Concert Hall!
