Description: The musical performance “About Marie, the doll Zhuzhu and the traveling circus” in the series “Musical fairy tales for children” organized by the Dzintari Concert Hall will prove how much lightness, joy and charm the music of the French light genre has. The instruments chosen for the performance – piano, accordion and saxophone will be the real instruments that will prove it. And even more so the musicians who call these instruments their own – pianist Agnese Egliņa, accordionist Artūrs Noviks and saxophonist Oskars Petrauskis. And what about without the singers – Laura Purena – Kancāne, Baiba Mīlberga and Naura Indzera. Even the actor Raimonds Celms will sing in the performance and, of course, the students of the Riga Cathedral Choir School. But the lightness and charm of a completely different genre will be present in the performance of the students of the Riga Circus School. All the participants of the performance will tell about a young girl Marie, who still likes dolls, about Marie’s birthday, in which both her godfather – the director of the traveling circus, and Marie’s friends – Odette, Guillaume and François want to give Marie the nicest gifts. But who knows, maybe the nicest birthday present will be the unexpected arrival of Bobo, a stranger?
