The final concert of the 42nd International Hans Gabor Belvedere Young Opera Singers Competition will take place on June 9 at 17:00 in the historic Dzintari Concert Hall, in which young opera singers from all over the world will participate.

The prestigious competition, named after the founder of the Vienna Chamber Opera, Hans Gabor, is a decisive event in the career of young singers, because by participating in the competition, they get not only monetary prizes, but also permanent cooperation offers. For 42 years, the competition has been opening doors for young vocalists to the world’s most prestigious opera stages. Past participants and laureates include opera stars Elina Garanča, Angela Gheorghiu, Marina Mescheriakova, Ildikó Raimondi, Irina Samoilova, Stanislav Schwez, etc.
