The original music of multi-instrumentalist Raimonds Macats, inspired by folk music, is characterized by elegance, melodiousness, and nuanced emotions. The excellent cohesion of the experienced jazz musician’s assembled ensemble and the musical expression permeated with vitality and positive emotions captivate the attention and leave no one indifferent. Raimonds Macats has included references to the grandmasters of mouth harp playing in his new program – alongside the leader’s compositions, there are pieces from the repertoire of the Belgian legend Toots Thielemans and the American star Stevie Wonder, honoring the talent and significant contribution of these musicians to the development of this unique and charming instrument’s playing.

Program: Raimonds Macats, Toots Thielemans, Stevie Wonder, Latvian folk songs, etc.
