On July 26, for the first time in Latvia, the Ukrainian ballet “Freedom” will perform on the stage of the Dzintari concert hall with a solo program “Wardrobe”! 16+

The legendary Ukrainian ballet “Freedom” has recently celebrated their 20th anniversary, and it would be difficult to fit its entire biography even in the largest of all existing books. But the last decade of their incredible creative path managed to be placed in … “Wardrobe”!
The “Wardrobe” is something more than just a dance performance – it has become the quintessence of the creative worldview of the ballet “Freedom” and hides the whole universe of the director Olena Kolyadenko and her irreplaceable dance and theater family.
The “Wardrobe” will be opened to you as a “live museum” of very personal stories and specific people. Just you, 14 dancers and their heartfelt stories.
The performance is intended for an adult audience, for people who have life experience behind them and was created to walk along the edge of pure human emotions: joy, sadness, fear, disappointment, admiration. The performance contains scenes of immersive work with the audience, involving the audience in the plot of the “Wardrobe” , as well as the interaction of artists directly with the audience.
Ballet “Freedom” is – more than five thousand dance and theater productions, as well as participation in the most iconic television projects in Ukraine and abroad.
Part of the funds earned at the concert will be directed to support the Ukrainian army and Ukrainian families affected by the war.
The band toured to over 30 countries with sold outs and took part in filming for more than 50 famous artists and author’s performances, among them collaborated with the legendary Cirque du Soleil, sharing the stage with the world star of burlesque Dita von Teese. For 20 years of its creative life, “Freedom” remains a pioneer in its craftsmanship.
