Entry is by free admission tickets, which can be picked up at the Dzintari Concert Hall ticket office.

On December 14, at 19.00 in the Dzintari Concert Hall, with the support of Jurmala State City, the charity event “A tribute to Ukraine with Valentin Silvestrov” will be held. Ukrainian singer Inna Galatenko will perform at the concert together with pianist Yevhenii Motorenko.

Actor Gundars Āboliņš of the New Riga Theater will also take part in the concert with poetry readings. At 18.00 in the Chamber Hall there will be an opportunity to watch a documentary film about the composer “V. Silvestrov” /2020/.

Inna Galatenko is the owner of a wonderful soprano voice, to whom Valentin Silvestrov has been writing for many years, saying that her voice is especially alive and fresh, and noting that the singer has a special sense of maintaining a compromise between her nature and the composer’s intention. Pianist Yevhenii Motorenko, on the other hand, got his musical taste from his mother, singer Inna Galatenko, and also received an excellent professional education. The pianist currently works and lives in Dusseldorf and is under the professional attention of Valentin Silvestrov.

Silvestrov’s musical language is close to renaissance with its simplicity and etherealness, and in his works one can especially feel the unique sense of beauty and refinement of sound.
