This summer, on August 9 at 19:00, a brand-new music celebration will shine at Dzintari Concert Hall – the Jūrmala Blues Festival!

This international festival will take place for the first time, with a bright vision for the future – to establish a new tradition where Jūrmala resonates with the rhythms of blues every year.

The festival is special in another way as well – with this concert, Latvian Blues Band marks the beginning of their 25th-anniversary tour, bringing together outstanding guest artists: the charismatic and beloved musician Adeama Walkowiak (GB) and the great Big Daddy Wilson (USA). These international guests have already performed to sold-out concert halls across Latvia multiple times. This time, in honor of the opening concert of Latvian Blues Band’s 25th-anniversary tour, a special program will be performed.

The selected artists perfectly embody this year’s festival theme, “Power of Blues & Soul”, highlighting the strength, passion, and deep emotionality of blues and soul music.

The festival program will consist of two parts. In the first part, the stage will be graced by the captivating voice of Kristīne Prauliņa & The Soulful Crew, offering a true treat for soul music lovers.
