Aija Vītoliņa and Aivars Hermanis will perform several compositions by Yasmin Levy, a singer and songwriter of Sephardic Jewish origin from Spain. Her music blends the rhythms and stylistic elements of Andalusian flamenco. Yasmin Levy describes her music as follows:
“I take pride in uniting Ladino and flamenco cultures while incorporating Middle Eastern influences. I mix Ladino with Andalusian Roma flamenco, creating a style that still carries the musical memories of the ancient Moorish and Sephardic world, infused with the sounds of the Arab world.”

Additionally, together with Mārcis Auziņš, Aivars Hermanis will perform several popular instrumental pieces in the flamenco style. The program will also feature jazz standards, original instrumental compositions by Aivars Hermanis, and a selection of well-known songs performed by Aija Vītoliņa in Latvian, French, Portuguese, and English.
