On November 26 from 10 AM to 10 PM the Dzintari Small Hall will host the Final Round and the Awards Ceremony of the 10th Talents of Inese Galante Competition.
The competition takes place in four categories:
– academic singing;
– keyboard instrument performance;
– string instrument performance;
– wind instrument /percussions performance.
Performance time for each category – ~1.5 hours (with intermissions of 15-40 minutes)*

The prestigious international competition “Talents of Inese Galante” attracts singers and instrumentalists from the whole world. The competition is organized by the “Inese Galante Fund” in collaboration with the professors of the Jāzeps Vītols Latvian Academy of Music, and supported by the “Future Support Fund”. The admirers of classical music are invited to experience the final round of the 2023 competition, which is essentially a brilliant, day-long concert, in which talented young musicians perform classical music pieces by world-renowned composers. The jury chairman, opera singer Inese Galante says: “First and foremost, the final round of our creative contest is a beautiful concert, providing a great opportunity for our young musicians to communicate through music with their audience and jury members – it is a day of memorable emotions and valuable experiences. We will celebrate the music together throughout this day and award the competition winners in the evening.”
