On August 17, in the Small Hall of the Dzintari Concert Hall, as part of a new large-scale and significant cultural event for the Baltic countries and throughout Europe – the Baltic Awards, a concert will take place with the participation of the brightest talents, winners of the Inessa Galante Talents competition.
The “Young and Bright” concert is a tradition established by the Inessa Galante Foundation in 2023 with the goal of presenting to the general public young, talented artists performing classical music at the level of world famous musicians and soloists.
This summer, Brigita Chirkse-Reisone (soprano), Rinalds Rosenlauks (oboe), Elina Agneta Lamberte (cocle) will perform in this concert. The founder of the foundation and the chairman of the jury of the talent competition, opera diva Inessa Galante, will introduce the young talents.
The program will feature a brilliant kaleidoscope of musical compositions, including the most popular and “immortal” works of world classics. Young performers promise to surprise the audience with their skills and originality. Spectators will have the opportunity to feel proud of the creative potential of our country and spend an unforgettable summer evening enjoying talented performances of the most beautiful works of world classics.
For the young artists, a solo performance on the historical stage of the Dzintari Concert Hall with its excellent acoustics is an honorable and prestigious opportunity to demonstrate their talent in front of the most demanding audience. Public support is extremely important for young performers; therefore, the organizers and participants invite Latvians and spectators from other countries to take part in this beautiful event.

The music competition “Talents of Inessa Galante” has been held in Latvia since 2013, with the goal of identifying young talented performers and promoting their musical development. Every year, up to 300 young musicians and singers take part in the competition, about 70,000 listeners around the world vote for their favorites online, and the competition laureates receive recognition not only in Latvia, but also far beyond its borders. Many young musicians who received The Inessa Galante Foundation’s support are already the soloists of the Latvian National Opera, musicians of the world’s best orchestras, and receive prestigious music awards.
